United States  Post Office figures for fiscal year ending June 30th, 1908 cite 677,777,798 post cards mailed.  The total population of the United States at that time was only 88, 700,000.

    From the gorgeous sailing vessels, to the music, to the big wave video!
    Stan Roger's Bluenose is one of my all time favorite pieces of music. I have played it hundreds of times. His voice is as deep and as resonant as the ocean itself. The words are powerful and lyrical to a Bluenoser heart!
    Those big French ocean waves are the stuff my nightmares are made of. I have never wanted to be a lighthouse keeper! I'll probably have a tidal wave nightmare tonight!
    And I haven't thought of Macaulay photos in forever!
