  3. Hope you are feeling better Fundy Blue and am so glad you liked the tunes! I am heading to Brier Island sometime in first weeks of August (weather pending) for a whale visit. If I do will be sure to post some pictures for you. Ron I was visiting friends this weekend near Annapolis. I have seen many varieties of poppies, but these were not the orange giants that I was accustomed. As in the photo, these were large in size and a geranium red and they had dozens. I learned that after the seed pods have ripened, they collect them in the fall, letting them remain dry and dormant over winter, then planting in early cool spring. These poppies like it very sterile, dry and relatively impoverished soils. Hope you are having a great summer!
