Wish I Had a WideLux

Jeff Bridges the movie actor, musician, artist and photographer describes his long relationship with a WideLux camera as living with a "fickle mistress."   Notoriously finicky, Widelux is a rare film camera with a funky fixed focus, ultra wide angle lens in 35mm or medium format that has been around for many decades most recently popularized by Ted Dwane, bassist for Mumford & Sons.  I want one!

  2. Hi Mark! Happy New Year! You manage to take inspiring photos regardless of what camera you have. I have no patience ~ My style of photography is "Captured on the Run." So I'm stuck with my little point and shoot that focuses automatically because I have trouble focusing, especially in low light situations. I discovered that right away my first time trying to take photos with a studio camera. I struggle with consistently visiting blogs I love, like yours, but maybe I'll do better this year. Happy shooting and may you get that WideLux you dream of!

  4. I wish I had one too Mark. My neighbour has a dark room she never uses and has said we can use whenever we want......just as digital photography becomes ubiquitous. Happy new year! x
