Eastern Wood Pewee

A cosy little Eastern Wood Pewee nest found by a friend of mine. Woven fine grasses, bits of maple leaves, pine needles, plant down, all covered with fine bits of lichen and bound together with spider gossamer. A microcosmic inventory of materials sourced from the forest in which it lives.  3 Eggs on July 3rd.
